Kendyl Matthews, Professional Counseling Student Intern (Under Supervision)


Kendyl is a master’s level intern under the supervision of Missy Loftis, LMFT, and Trevecca Nazarene University. Her specialties/passions include working with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, regulation of their nervous system, sexuality (including sexual concerns, gender identity, and sexual trauma), self-worth and relationship with self, mood disorders, and depression. Kendyl often incorporates components of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), internal family systems (IFS), and polyvagal theory into her session. She offers counseling through an expressive therapy lens, such as utilizing artistic expression and other creative approaches. Kendyl’s fee per 50 minute session is $60.
